Swim Newton is committed to developing champions in the water and around their communities. Swimming builds confidence, teaches goal setting and self-discipline, time management and other important life skills. Swim team participation correlates with academic achievement and is the only sport that can save a life. Drowning is the second-leading cause of death among children age 2-18.
Swim Newton professional coaching instructs and trains all athletic levels while emphasizing individual progress, team unity and family participation. The team encourages athletes to develop character and self-discipline necessary to succeed in swimming and excel in life away from the pool.
Newton is home to a nationally ranked USA Swimming program for children ages 5-18 throughout the area. In 2017, Swim Newton brought home the Missouri Valley Champs trophy, a prestigious honor because our local athletes outscored teams from Kansas and Missouri. Individually, the team recorded 23 conference top ten swimmer rankings and continually builds upon that success for future performances.
We ask for your consideration to sponsor Swim Newton for the upcoming season. With your sponsorship, we may continue to provide instruction within the community and maintain affordable tuition costs to provide a swimming program rivaling larger programs in Wichita and beyond.
